José Javier Rodríguez is a Democratic candidate for Florida attorney general. He is an attorney and former Florida legislator who served in both the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate. Rodríguez also served as U.S. Assistant Secretary of Labor, where he worked on workforce opportunities and connections between workers and employers. His campaign emphasizes public safety, government accountability, consumer protection, and independent enforcement of the law. He lives with his wife, Sonia, and their two sons.
