V. Michael Arias

V. Michael Arias is a Republican candidate for Florida’s 27th Congressional District, attorney, former prosecutor, and financial-regulation professional. Raised in Coral Gables, he earned bachelor’s, MBA, and law degrees from Florida State University. Arias began his legal career as a state prosecutor before serving as an enforcement attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He later held compliance and management roles in the financial industry and entered private practice representing investors, financial professionals, and small broker-dealers. Arias and his wife, Michelle, have lived in Coconut Grove for more than 35 years.
