Ashley Gantt is a Democratic candidate for Florida Senate District 34, attorney, educator, and small-business owner. She earned an English degree from the University of Florida and began her career with Teach for America before teaching in Miami-Dade County Public Schools for seven years. Gantt earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University and later served as a Broward County assistant public defender. She founded Gantt Legacy Law in 2021 and practices criminal defense, estate planning, probate, and personal injury law. She also teaches as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Law.

Public Education: Increase equitable school funding, teacher pay, arts programming, accessibility, and individualized student support. Housing and Economic Opportunity: Expand affordable housing, improve public transportation, support small businesses, and create better-paying jobs. Environment and Justice Reform: Address pollution and sea-level rise while expanding restorative justice, mental-health care, and reentry programs.
